In the trap (starters)
Soup of the Day*
Prawn Cocktail on a bed of Mixed Leaves, with Wholegrain Bread.
Fanned Melon* with a medley of Fresh Fruit with Kiwi, Pineapple, Grapes and Orange Segments.
Country Paté with Orange & Cranberry served with Melba Toast.
Chicken Tikka Skewers marinated Chicken pieces, served warm with Tikka Mayonnaise Dip.
Round the track (maincourse)
Lamb Shank tender Lamb Shank, braised in natural juices, complimented with a Redcurrant Sauce.
Roasted Duck (£1 extra) half Roast Duck, accompanied by a Blackcurrant Glaze laced with Port.
Chicken Paprika supreme of Chicken gently poached and coated with a Cream Sauce of Spring Onion, White Wine and Paprika.
Pork Loin Chasseur loin of Pork, slow cooked in a classic Chasseur sauce of Onion, Tomato, Garlic, Mushroom, white wine, tarragon and parsley.
Beef Steak, Ale & Mushroom Pudding, lean Steak and Mushrooms encased in a Suet Pudding, served with Guinness Gravy.
Cod Steaks lightly steamed Cod Steaks in a creamy Minted Pea and Ham Sauce.
Mushroom Lasagne * layers of Pasta with Gruyere Cheese and Mushrooms, topped with Mozzarella.
Butternut Squash & Ginger Bake * chunks of Butternut Squash, Red Onion, Spinach, Ginger and Tomato, lightly spiced, topped with Bread Crumble.
Grilled Gammon with Pineapple.
Grilled 8oz Sirloin Steak available with Pepper or Red Wine Sauce (£1.50 extra). Weight is approximate before cooking.
